In collaboration with PTT GC and RFS (Ramathibodi Facilities Services), “Reperception Brick” is a recycled plastic module designed for both medical campus infrastructure and household scale products. As part of the routine kidney treatment process, the HDPE plastic gallon is one of the major wastes that the hospital needs to take care of continuously.

Consisting of two sizes of modules, S and M, the project upcycles this gallon cycle to be an alternative architectural element which can be combined together to define space. Reperception from earth brick, this new gallon design can be effectively used as a dumbbell, or constructed as a bike rack, a garbage, a planter box, a wall, and so on by containing fresh water. Depending on the architectural programs, from a drop point in Ramathibodi medical campus to a simple bench in a highrise condominium can be all made possible by hand.

As the goal of sustaining material cycle and supporting well-being conditions, the module is handy, flexible, and lightweight which is friendly for all ages and all genders. It is a designer’s belief that this “water brick” will significantly assist and inspire people to transform and reimagine a better living condition on both public and private scale.
